Why is poker prohibited in some countries?

If gov's can regulate and tax something, they will. I think this has been proven over time and I really do not get it. It is a game to many, not a sport or anything else. Answered by clove 30 days ago

I don't know about countries but some states in the USA are somewhat puritan. They have strong religious convictions can lead to the total gambling bans. Other places just ban online gambling. Answered by Ricardo 1 month ago
